I grew up in West Texas, attending Baylor University for my B.A. in economics and political science. I immediately moved to New York City and worked in international trade and finance there for ten years. I moved to Loveland, CO to live and work at Sunrise Ranch, an international non-denominational church center where I served as operations director. I also met a guy and had three children!
In 2006 I decided that I needed more skills to continue to assist people, so I went to law school at Denver University, graduating in 2009. This life change included a move to Denver, where I lived for 20 years.
My practice developed organically in family law and probate cases, including guardianships and conservatorships. Since I started Hunter Law, LLC on January 1, 2010, I have had the privilege to assist hundreds of families to address and resolve issues. I pay special attention to the needs of children and elders, those who are our future and those who have given us our present.
I have recently moved to Paonia, in Delta County, on the Western Slope of Colorado where I can be close to two of my three children and two of my four (for now) grandchildren while visiting the others in Fort Collins as frequently as possible. I have taken the required training to become a Child and Family Investigator (CFI) so that I can continue to offer needed services to families and children. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you.
